We are a small practice with a foot in both the urban domain of Melbourne as well as in the vast and varied reaches of Victoria’s north east.
Established in 2014, our foundation is in design being innovative, intelligent and based on sound principles and in collaboration with all the stakeholders.
We are committed to environmentally sensitive and sustainable design principles throughout, as we believe this is an integral and non-negotiable first step of the process. Incorporating appropriate materials and integrating landscape design with water capture and creative reuse and utilisation of native water and drought sensitive plants whilst pushing and being driven by intelligent simplicity and the art of design.

TESTIMONIALS
Principal, St Johns Primary School
"St John's Footscray began searching for a design company who would listen, innovate our space, spark new ideas and work with our community to build a school with the 'Image of a child' at the forefront. We were seeking to institutionalis ur school and build a hub for learning, where all are welcome and families become the owners of our space.
Nead architecture and design (Zvonko and Kathi) certainly exceeded our expectations. At all times we had their designers asking us to tell our story, discuss our ideas and contemplate our dreams. Each time we came together, more of our ideas were captured in drawings and spaces. Their ideas and suggestions were made with total respect and investment into the overall project. Our gatherings were always timely, organized and extremely prepared. Nead architecture demonstrated a high level of expertise in educational pedagogy and proved to be collaborative in the documentation stage.
Zvonko and Kathi were thorough in their documentation with recommendations to enable correct costings and detailed planning. This assisted in all overall submissions to our central office. (CATHOLIC EDUCATION OFFICE) The staff allocated to our project were appropriately qualified and the office had a high level of understanding on the procedures and guidelines set to enable applications for grants.
We were very impressed with the follow up of each stage and the prompting of what was required - this enabled our team to be as organized and prepared as NEAD were. The process was exciting and enjoyable not stressful nor exhausting. WE can't thank Kath, Zvonko and NEAD enough and would highly recommend their company to anyone."
